Service Disclosure Agreement
This disclosure explains what customers should understand before Maple Tech performs diagnostics, repair, setup, upgrade, custom PC, data, website, or support work.
Last updated: July 4, 2026
Customer Authorization
You authorize Maple Tech to inspect, test, diagnose, and perform approved work on the equipment, accounts, software, network, or website described in your request. You confirm that you have permission to authorize this work.
Risk of Service
Computer repair and technical troubleshooting can involve risk, especially with failing storage drives, malware infections, unstable power supplies, liquid damage, overheating systems, corrupted operating systems, or aging hardware. Maple Tech will use reasonable care, but service may not restore a device to working condition if underlying damage is severe.
Data Responsibility
Customers are responsible for backups before service. If you need data backup or transfer work, request it before repair begins. Maple Tech will handle customer data respectfully and only access files as needed for the approved service, but cannot guarantee recovery or preservation of unbacked-up data.
Passwords and Access
Some repairs require temporary access to Windows, macOS, online accounts, hosting accounts, routers, email, or other systems. Customers should avoid sharing unnecessary sensitive information and may change passwords after service is complete.
Parts and Replacements
Replacement parts may be new, used, refurbished, customer-supplied, or supplier-provided depending on the approved quote. Maple Tech will identify the intended parts path when possible. Customer-supplied parts are not covered by Maple Tech parts warranty.
Malware and Security Work
Malware removal reduces known threats found during service but cannot guarantee a device will never be reinfected. Customer browsing habits, unsafe downloads, outdated software, reused passwords, and exposed accounts can create future risk.
Custom PC Builds and Performance Estimates
Planner FPS estimates, compatibility guidance, and build recommendations are directional. Actual performance depends on final part selection, drivers, BIOS settings, game updates, background apps, thermals, resolution, and graphics settings.
Service Completion
Once work is complete, Maple Tech will notify the customer. The customer should inspect the device or deliverable promptly and report any concerns related to the completed service as soon as possible.
Agreement
By submitting a request, approving a quote, or leaving equipment with Maple Tech, you acknowledge that you understand these disclosures and authorize Maple Tech to proceed with approved diagnostics or service.
